Cancellation Steps
Open Subscriptions in Settings
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also cancel on the web at tv.apple.com: sign in, click the account icon, choose Settings, and scroll to Subscriptions.
Select Apple TV+
Tap your Apple TV+ subscription under Active. On tv.apple.com, click Manage next to the subscription.
Tap Cancel Subscription
Tap (or click) Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find the button. Confirm when prompted.
Note where you subscribed
If you pay for Apple TV through Google Play or Amazon, you must cancel there instead — through play.google.com / the Apple TV app on Android, or through your Amazon account.
Keep watching until renewal
Apple TV+ stays available until the end of the current billing period, after which it won't renew or charge you again.
Refund policy
Apple generally does not prorate or refund the unused portion, but Apple TV+ stays active through the end of your billing cycle.
- Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; approval is at Apple's discretion.
- Free trial cancellations take effect immediately at the end of the trial with no charge.
- Downloaded titles become unavailable once your access ends.
Common issues
Subscribed through Amazon or a TV bundle
If you signed up via Amazon Channels, a smart-TV maker, or a carrier, cancel through that provider—it will not appear in your Apple subscriptions.
Cancel option missing
If you don't see Cancel Subscription, you may be signed in with the wrong Apple ID or the plan is part of an Apple One bundle.
