Cancellation Steps

1

Open YouTube TV in a browser

Go to tv.youtube.com in a web browser (on iPhone or iPad you must use a browser, not the app) and click (or tap) your profile photo.

2

Go to your Membership settings

Select Settings, then open the Membership tab.

3

Manage your membership

Next to your YouTube TV base plan, click (or tap) Manage.

4

Cancel the membership

Click (or tap) Cancel membership, then Cancel to confirm. You keep access until the end of your payment period.

5

Billed through Apple or Roku?

If you signed up through Apple (iTunes) or Roku, cancel in that provider's subscription settings instead.

Refund Policy

YouTube TV does not issue prorated refunds; after you cancel, your membership stays active and you keep watching until the end of the current paid period.

  • Cancelling stops the next charge but does not refund the current month.
  • You can also Pause the membership for up to a set number of weeks instead of cancelling.
  • If billed through Apple, refunds must be requested from Apple, not Google.

Common Issues

Cancel option is missing

If you only see store-managed options, you signed up through Apple—cancel in your iPhone's Subscriptions settings instead.

Add-on networks still active

Cancelling the base plan ends add-ons too, but if you only want to drop an add-on, use its individual Manage option instead of cancelling the whole membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does my YouTube TV access end?
At the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until that date, then the membership stops with no further charges.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Yes. YouTube TV lets you pause your membership for several weeks, which delays billing while keeping your account and recordings.
Will I lose my recorded library?
Recordings remain available if you resubscribe within a limited window, but they are eventually removed after the membership stays cancelled.
