Is Hulu shutting down or merging with Disney+?
Hulu is not shutting down, but Disney is folding it into the Disney+ app over the course of 2026, with a fully unified app expected by the end of the year. Hulu becomes a hub inside Disney+, the standalone Hulu app is being retired on some devices starting February 2026, and existing plans, prices, logins, and watch history carry over.
Does Hulu have a free trial?
Hulu's standard 30-day free trial is no longer consistently offered — it was reported discontinued in June 2026, though promotional trials still appear at sign-up from time to time. Without one, the cheapest ways in are Hulu (With Ads) at $11.99 per month or the $1.99 per month student rate for verified college students.
How much is Hulu for students?
College students pay $1.99 per month for Hulu (With Ads), 83% off the regular $11.99 price, after verifying enrollment through SheerID. The discount applies only to the ad-supported plan and lasts as long as you remain an eligible student and re-verify when asked. There is no student pricing for the No Ads or Live TV plans.
How many people can watch Hulu at the same time?
Two screens can stream Hulu at once on the standard With Ads and No Ads plans. You can download the app and stay signed in on as many supported devices as you like, but only two can play video at the same time, regardless of how many profiles are on the account.
Does Hulu + Live TV include Disney+ and ESPN?
Yes. Every Hulu + Live TV plan includes Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra cost, along with 95+ live channels. The with-ads bundle is $89.99 per month and the version with ad-free on-demand Hulu and Disney+ is $99.99. A Live TV Only plan without the on-demand libraries costs $88.99 per month.
Is there a bundle for Hulu and Disney+?
Yes. The Duo Basic bundle includes Hulu and Disney+ with ads for $12.99 per month, about $11 less than subscribing separately, and Duo Premium makes both ad-free for $19.99. Adding HBO Max brings it to $19.99 with ads or $32.99 ad-free per month. Each bundle is billed as a single subscription.
