Cancellation Steps

01

Sign in to your account

Open DisneyPlus.com in a computer or mobile browser and sign in with the email and password you used when you subscribed directly.

02

Go to Account

Click (or tap) your profile in the top corner, then select Account from the menu.

03

Open your subscription

Under the Subscription section, select your Disney+ plan, then click (or tap) Cancel Subscription.

04

Confirm cancellation

Choose a reason for canceling and complete the final cancellation page. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period and receive a confirmation email.

05

If you were billed through a third party

If you signed up via a partner such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or a provider like Verizon or Spectrum, you must cancel directly through that company, not Disney+.

Refund policy

Disney+ generally does not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. After cancelling, you retain access until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • No pro-rated refunds for the unused portion.
  • Access continues until the paid period expires.

Common issues

Subscribed Through a Partner?

If you got Disney+ via Apple, Google, Amazon, Hulu/Disney bundle, or a mobile/TV provider, cancel in that platform's subscription settings — Disney's own page won't show a cancel option.

Bundle Considerations

If Disney+ is part of a bundle with Hulu or ESPN, cancelling may affect the other services or change pricing — review the bundle details before confirming.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep watching after I cancel?
Yes. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, then it stops.
Why don't I see a Cancel option in my account?
That usually means you're billed through a third party like Apple or Google — cancel in that provider's Subscriptions settings instead.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Disney+ does not offer a pause feature; you can only cancel and resubscribe later.
