How much is Paramount+ per month in 2026?
Paramount+ costs $8.99 per month for Essential (with ads) or $13.99 per month for Premium (ad-free with Showtime) in the US, after the January 15, 2026 price increase. Annual plans cost $89.99 for Essential and $139.99 for Premium, which works out to roughly two months free compared with monthly billing.
What is the difference between Paramount+ Essential and Premium?
Essential ($8.99/month) includes the full on-demand catalog and live sports such as the NFL on CBS with ads, but no live feed of your local CBS station. Premium ($13.99/month) removes ads from on-demand content, adds Showtime originals and movies, and includes 24/7 live streaming of your local CBS affiliate.
Does Paramount+ have a free trial?
Not for direct sign-ups anymore. Paramount+ ended its long-running seven-day free trial on January 15, 2026, the same day it raised prices and weeks before UFC arrived on the service. Workarounds remain: a 30-day Walmart+ trial includes Paramount+ Essential, and Amazon Prime Video Channels periodically offers seven-day Paramount+ trials.
Is UFC included with Paramount+?
Yes. Paramount+ became the exclusive US home of UFC in 2026, and numbered events and Fight Nights stream at no extra cost on both the $8.99 Essential and $13.99 Premium plans, ending UFC's pay-per-view model in the US. UFC's arrival came weeks after the January 15, 2026 price increase.
How many people can stream Paramount+ at once?
Three devices can stream Paramount+ simultaneously on both the Essential and Premium plans, and each account supports up to six profiles. Unlike Netflix and Disney+, Paramount+ has not rolled out a household-based password-sharing crackdown, so the three-stream cap is the practical limit on sharing.
Why did my Paramount+ bill go up in 2026?
Paramount+ raised US prices on January 15, 2026: Essential went from $7.99 to $8.99 per month and Premium from $12.99 to $13.99. Annual plans rose more sharply, with Essential jumping from $59.99 to $89.99 per year and Premium from $119.99 to $139.99. It was the third increase, after June 2023 and August 2024.
Does Paramount+ include Showtime?
Showtime is included with Paramount+ Premium ($13.99/month), which absorbed Showtime's originals and film library on June 27, 2023 and was originally branded Paramount+ With Showtime. The $8.99 Essential plan does not include Showtime content. Premium also adds the live CBS feed and ad-free on-demand viewing.
